


Jane Dalton is an award-winning journalist who has worked as an editor, a sub-editor, a feature-writer and reporter for some of Britain’s leading media groups including The Sunday Times, The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, the Guardian, the BBC, the Press Association and The Independent, where she still works now.
She started writing her first novel at the age of eight, going on to write short stories, two of which won prizes, and another of which was shortlisted for the Asham award.
A graduate in French and Russian, she adores the greats such as Camus, Dostoevsky and Chekhov. During her early career on local papers, she won or was runner-up in three awards, and interviewed former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.
